A Tasmanian native who was part of the remarkable Australian legacy at Saint Mary's College is beginning life at his second NBL club having joined Melbourne United for NBL24.

Growing up in Hobart where his father Dan Krebs was playing for the Devils, Tanner honed his craft at the junior level, representing Australia at the U17 World Championships before heading off to California to play at St Mary’s.

Following a successful collegiate career, Krebs joined the Brisbane Bullets, playing three seasons with the Queensland team.

A sharpshooter capable of breaking games open with his marksmanship, he showcased his skill in the NBL1 with the Gold Coast Rollers, winning the NBL1 North championship, and now is ready to make his mark in his first season with Melbourne United.
