The New Zealand native decided to join fellow Kiwi Sam Waardenburg in the front court of the Cairns Taipans for the 2023/24 season, as he begins his professional career.

The Taipans frontcourt will have a decided New Zealand flavour for NBL24 with the 22-year-old beginning his professional career in the NBL in Cairns on the back of a standout last season in college at Davidson College.

After growing up in Auckland and attending the renowned basketball factory at Westlake Boys High School, joined Davidson and spent three years playing with the Wildcats where he got more opportunities, and got better each season.

Ended up delivering 15.2 points and 6.7 rebounds a game in the 2022/23 season and his all-round game inside and out was impressive, and in his 2021/22 season he even shot the three ball at a stunning 46.7 per cent.

He has already played with the Tall Blacks at the 2022 FIBA Asia Cup and has a big future at international level, but also in the NBL beginning at the Taipans this season.
