The hulking Next Star from Germany is ready to play a second NBL season with Melbourne United following a remarkable recovery from a ruptured Achilles tendon in the NBL23 preseason.

Coming into the league at 19-years-old, the 213cm and 113kg German powerhouse made an immediate impact for United as part of a team that would end up as regular season champions, before losing in the semi finals to the Tasmania JackJumpers.

Primed to play another season at Melbourne and to rise up the NBA Draft rankings, tragedy struck as he ruptured his achilles on the eve of NBL23.

He would miss the entire season but committed his return to Melbourne in NBL24 with all signs pointing to him being even more powerful, explosive and having fine tuned his game as he looks to have a significant impact before nominating for the 2024 NBA Draft.
