The 22-year-old forward has joined the Tasmania JackJumpers as a development player for the 2023/24 season for his first taste of life in the NBL.

It's a reward for persistence, hard work and dedication from the Tasmanian native who has been a training player with the JackJumpers the past two seasons and played strong basketball in the NBL1 South at the Hobart Chargers, He now earns a contract for NBL24.

Was a key part of the Chargers' championship triumph in 2022 and then throughout the 2023 season he was able to average 13.2 points, 7.9 rebound and 2.0 assists, while shooting at 55.7 per cent from the field to continue to show his development.

Combined with his commitment to training with the JackJumpers over the past two seasons with no guarantees, he now gets to begin living out his dream in the NBL with his local team.
