The triple Olympian and NBA championship winner makes his return to the NBL for the 2023/24 season to resume his career at Melbourne United.

It has been quite the remarkable ride for the tenacious guard, who carved out one of the great careers already for any Australian basketballer, but he is far from done yet at 33 years of age.

Having grown up in Maryborough, Victoria, he spent two years at the Australian Institute of Sport before continuing Australia's rich legacy at Saint Mary's College, where his jersey has since been retired.

He joined the Cleveland Cavaliers of the NBA for 2013/14 and became a crucial member of the Cavs team that lost the NBA Finals to the Golden State Warriors, before getting revenge a year later to claim the 2016 championship. 

Delly then spent three-and-a-bit seasons at the Milwaukee Buckets before returning to the Cavs midway through the 2018/19 season, and playing another two seasons.

That's when he had his first stint in the NBL; a strong season with Melbourne United in #NBL22, before then returning to the NBA to play at the Sacramento Kings in 2022/23.

He is now back and high on motivation with Melbourne to continue a career that's also seen him represent the Australian Boomers at the 2012, 2016 and 2020 Olympics, while part of the bronze medal winners in Tokyo.
